Maluma praises Bukele: "I'm very happy about the situation in Salvador. Congratulations, the streets are clean."

Colombian singer Maluma surprised audiences this weekend during a concert in San Salvador , El Salvador, by revealing that his country,Colombia , has "a lot" to "learn" from El Salvador, as reported by the international media.

" I am very happy about the situation the country is going through, Salvador . Congratulations, since I arrived the energy of the place feels beautiful, it feels incredible, the streets are clean, the people are loving and caring," said the singer, as captured in videos published on the social network X (previously known as Twitter ), during his concert on Saturday night at the Jorge 'Mágico' González National Stadium.

In his statement, Maluma stated, "As a Colombian, I have to tell you that we have a lot to learn from our sister country, El Salvador." The concert is part of his current "+Pretty +Dirty World Tour."

El Salvador has been under a state of emergency for more than three years, suspending constitutional guarantees to combat gangs . President Nayib Bukele 's government attributes this to the decline in homicides in the country, which for years was considered one of the most dangerous in the world.

Although this measure, implemented by the government and which has become the only one against gangs , is accepted by a large part of the Salvadoran population and by the governments of some countries, it is accused of violating rights, according to international organizations such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
